I Love a Parade

In our neck of the woods, we have "Farmer's Days" every year. Basically, it's just a big party, with a parade, a fair, and a rodeo. And every year we like to go the Farmer's Days parade. Here are some pics from yesterday's fun.....

The girls, all wrapped up in a blanket. They were freezing. It was cold at first, then it warmed up a bit.

The boys, wrapped up. Note that Adam has learned the art of sticking his tongue out. (ala Auntie Beth) Little hooligan.

While waiting for a parade to start, it is essential that you check out all the beetles on the road.

The Mounties. I always like how they look in their traditional uniforms.

The guys on the little motorcycles. They're always so cool.

Anthony and Belle have fun.

The cute little firetrucks.

Little airplanes.

This one's for you, PIPO.

I love this shot of my boys.

Sarah's favourite part. :-)

This is my favourite picture. When Sarah and Cecil were waiting for it to start, they took four blades of grass and made a tic-tac-toe board. Then they used different coloured rocks and played. I love it when kids use their MINDS. :-)

I object. I have not seen Adam since last JUNE! I don't think me sticking out my tongue has lasted long enough to make him start that NOW. Perhaps his Auntie's sister is to blame???????????

Awesome tic-tac-toe board....smart kids!

Sorry to see it's cold up your way, too. It's in the 50s here, and it's June now. Let's get with the program :)

Ceeeeereeeeppppy! Only to be made worse if the offending clown had an enormous arachnid on his person.

Oh, my poor girl. She will be circus deprived.

Other than that little clown incident it looked like a pretty snappy parade.

See and in your last post, you were wondering if there was a lack in their brains and in this post we see this is not the case. The parade looks fun. Z said she had fun. Their float got first prize.
